A study by the University of Liverpool has found that a decrease in smoking rapidly reduces mortality rates in individuals and entire populations within six months.
The mission of the Essex Cardiac and Stroke Network is for patients, carers and professionals to work collaboratively to deliver high quality equitable stroke and cardiac services, accessible to all residents in Essex.
The Network consists of professionals from health, social services, voluntary organisations and patients and carers.
The core network team supports all organisations to work collaboratively to influence and implement national policy. We provide intelligence on new technology, examples of excellent service delivery and expertise on service redesign methodology.
